Water and Preventive Maintenance Foundation is an introductory course which covers key concepts of water treatment systems and preventive maintenance of coffee machines and certain practical skills required to safely apply this knowledge.

SCA Hydraulics 液壓學
了解並學習咖啡設備液壓方面的各組成部分，包括辨認、解決常見問題、更換液壓組成元件。此課程為學員介紹濃縮咖啡機內的液壓學，並講解如何將咖啡機與水源接駁的實務技巧。
Practice locating, troubleshooting, and replacing hydraulic components in coffee equipment, as well as routing and connecting water supply lines to coffee machines. This course introduces learners to coffee machine hydraulics and the practical skills required to connect a coffee machine to a water supply.
 
完成課堂後，學員將能夠：At the end of the course, learners will be able to:

SCA Electrical 電氣學
本電氣基礎班為入門課程，內容涵蓋咖啡機電氣系統的關鍵概念，以及有助於安全應用此知識的特定實務技巧
Electrical Foundation is an introductory course which covers key concepts of coffee machine electrical systems and certain practical skills required to safely apply this knowledge.
 
課程結束後，學員將能:At the end of the course, the learner will be able to:
● 辨別並說明在咖啡設備(包括 、滴濾式咖啡機和磨豆機)中常見的電氣元件用途 Identify and state the purpose of electrical components found in coffee equipment, including espresso machines, batch brewers and grinders
● 說明各種咖啡機電路(包括加熱元件、沖煮和自動填充電路)的基本運作原理 Describe the fundamental operating principles of various coffee machine electrical circuits, including heating element, brewing, and autofill circuits
● 說明電力在各種配置下的基本運作特性
Describe the fundamental operating characteristics of electricity in its various configurations
● 說明操作電氣設備的風險，並示範妥善安全的操作程序
Describe the dangers associated with interacting with electrical equipment and demonstrate appropriate safety procedures
● 示範如何妥善安全地透過電氣測試工具測量電壓、連續性和電阻
Demonstrate safe and appropriate use of electrical testing tools to measure voltage, continuity, and resistance
● 示範如何將插頭妥善連接電源線、確認插座的電源是否合適、成功連接咖啡機並開機
Demonstrate properly connecting a plug to an electrical cord, the confirmation of appropriate power at the outlet, and the successful connection and powering-on of a coffee machine
